To All: This latest bid for Comcast points out another area where WCOM is playing catch up. They have limited local distribution on top of not having any mobile product of their own. What has Bernie been doing in the last 12 months since the MCI merger. Perhaps he is content to be the trunk line for data which in itself is a nice business. But trying to catch up to T with this last minute purchase of MediaOne will be more costly than NXTL. He'll have to buy a lot more than Media One to catch up to T but I guess he has to start someplace. Good luck to us all.
