They said Maruf Ahmed cut off the penis of Akhtaruzzaman, 22, with a kitchen knife Wednesday while he was sleeping in a hotel room in Paikgacha town in Khulna district, southwestern Bangladesh. Doctors were unable to reattach it. The two factory workers had long been trying to win the same woman, police said. They did not identify her.
