Dale,
Read an interesting article on Bloomberg earlier today. Said that a long-distance company buying a Skytel would be profitable because the pager companies have an expense of about 30% that the telephone carriers could absorb without cost to them. With Skytel already showing a profit, if you could reduce costs by 30%, you would have an excellent profit. This does not even take into consideration the various other uses for wireless transport of data.
In my opinion, WCOM will only do this if it adds to earnings.
