Americans & Canadians The last time I returned to Canada, through Toronto Airport, I needed to exchange some U.S. dollars to post bail for my car. (Don't get me started on airport parking) Anyway, since I only needed a few dollars, I used one of those airport places. The person cheerfully exchanged my money and in a friendly manner welcomed me to Canada and asked how long I'd ever been here before. I must have appeared American, or maybe it was just the U.S. currency. In Ireland, I was asked by some German tourists to pose in front of a wall so they could have a 'local' in their photos.
