Oh, in my opinion, when you add in that necessary inclusion of the accounting required by the SEC regarding the new way of dealing with private offerings, it wasn't as bad as some thought it might be. I'll admit I was expecting a little more in sales but I guess, as I've been starting to learn since I recently joined "Corporate America" that V+D is only now beginning to start and does take a lot of time to get everything through. We started to change/redesign this network last August - guess what - we still don't have the new AS/400e on line yet nor all the new desktops. In the meantime I've learned enough to kill a pond full of frogs, including all the schooling involved in becoming a Lucent Intuity Audix Administrator whose individual server can run TCP/IP and a ton of other stuff but none of it is as functional as BT. I've got to get to bed early tonight, another Microsoft Developer's Network Seminar early in the AM, this is a quarterly tech briefing. Some of the more prominent reps will be there and we get some really neat tools (as usual) that nobody will ever be able to buy in any store. Then after I leave work I'm invited to another one for the public where we'll get Beta 3 copy of Win 2000, some other stuff and a chance of winning a new desktop. Let's see now - what does it say on my card? ionet.net Tell you what - when I get my Lucent certification I'll post that too. While I can't pull any calls with my friends at LU I'm sure I'll be able to pass it just fine on my own. Oh well, I'm not going to do any cable sorting tonight, figure a few hours of TV may be in order since I haven't been able to watch any in a while.
