So I guess it rides on the back of the Cellular Telephone networks. The concept first reminded me of Fleet Call/Nextel.

I imagine, then, the only real problem may be that it would be insecure for sensitive data such as credit cards.

It sounds pretty neat but finding rates on either site was an effort in futility. Unless they buried it real well, neither site posts what those costs are.
