I have done similar with options --- OEX and SPX in the past ... made some small profits BUT the premmie eats up most of it... and a couple of times net was loss..... don't ever remember, (mabye one time I did, and posted to you at that time, but maybe not, too) making profit on both sides. What I have in mind is not closing out the losing position, but the profitable one .... closing out that one on the rebound. Now, the whole thing depends upon my ability to calculate --- the peak OR the valley .... The main advantage is that I will be on board for the move ... and I think it will be sizeable .... and I will be aboard for the move in the other direction ... and this one depends upon MY ability. Scott thinks not, and you say no .... oh well, I still think it'll work ...
