Tom Murphy is the former CEO of Capital Cities ABC. Murphy is about 70 years old now, a true veteran of business. Warren Buffett has always talked about how much he has admired Tom Murphy. If it were not for Murphy, Buffett would not have taken a stake in Captial Cities ABC. Buffett considers Murphy to be one of the best best managers out there and has the highest regard for him. They are very good friends. Murphy is known for keeping a tight lid on costs and growing shareholder value. It is great to have Murphy on board DCLK. After all Murphy is extremely familiar with all aspects of the advertising business. Although we must recognize that he is on the board of directors and not running this company...but nevertheless a good thing to be 'graced by the golden touch of Buffett'.... Tom
