Crane Beach Hotel, Barbados is a secluded resort that overlooks one of the better beaches on the island. The wife and I went their in 1996 for our honeymoon. It's one of the oldest resorts in the Carabean, and was founded by the British.

I believe we paid 175.00 dollars a night, but it was nice. I remember the first night at the resort. No air conditioning, I almost went into panic mode, but when we opened the french doors to the terrace, the cool ocean breezes took care of everything. Other rooms do have air conditioning.

The real cool thing about Barbados is that everybody gets access to private beaches, so you can check out the most expensive resort on the island for free. So we did alot of beach hopping.
