I can't believe it, Tom. I stopped by here all ready to feel sorry for you and find you don't need a Florence Nightingale simulator... you need Bob Bondurant!! :-) Next thing I know you'll be listing all your trades for last week!!

I must admit that seeing your note is much better than enduring the anticipated bedside watch. Glad you're doing so well. I had no idea that a person could be out of the hospital that rapidly after such extreme surgery. Which is good... you can get sick in one of those places!

Things have been AIMing along in my absence from the thread. EGRP treated me very well. So well, in fact, that I unloaded most of my position and am essentially starting over. I now have a sizeable cash reserve ready for a worthy home (if I can ever find one!).

And LOGC, which languished for months, came alive awhile back and I've had some nice profits from that. With NATO throwing all sorts of weapons at Yugoslavia, I suspect LOGC will be doing some additional business since they supply hi-rel memory to the military in addition to their non-defense HDTV business line.

Had to accept that CTAL was no longer a good AIM candidate and I closed that position completely. I had some great profits from the account early on, but my take on it is that any further growth is going to be slow coming. On the other hand, selling BOBJ last September was out and out dumb! I've missed out on all the great recovery it went through since 9/98. Looks like I had these 2 reversed. CTAL was a nostalgia play in the first place, so I was guilty of some cloudy thinking in deciding to keep it.

In any case, it's been a great AIM year so far and I hope I can keep from letting it slip away from me. Even with 2 bad decisions on my part (CTAL and BOBJ) AIM has still managed to maintain its performance.

Looks like I have a few thousands notes to catch up on. Think I'll pass and just start from here. This note from Tom is the best new-beginning one could hope for.

Bruce

ps- you could probably have avoided the surgery completely if you'd stop wearing the stupid cheese head!! :-)
