I've said before elsewhere that a basher's job is to destroy. This stands in stark contrast to those who are working to stop real scams. Their job is to expose the scamers and stop the scam. They do it with facts and truth. They do it with what is really happening in the real world. But not bashers. They think missing dollar signs are proof of fraud. They think every good effort to build a business from scratch is really evil. Or even if they don't actually believe it (ala the rosarios) they say it.
A basher does not get paid when things are going well. Which makes sense. Bashers get paid in different kinds of currency. There are those who are probably paid money by someone. There are those who hope to make money (pay themselves) as a result of their bashing. There are those who collect their wages in attention from others or in the power they have to control and monopolize. As I've said before some are just internet vandals, raising hell for the hell of it.
Some have said they respect jhild for his DD abilities. Personally I don't. First off he does not know what the term DD means. If you ask him he will say Due Disclosure. It means Due Diligence. Under the definition of "lie" we have to mislead. Any newbies reading his posts will be mislead and confused as to what DD is (due diligence) and what it means (based on his example of doing DD).
Secondly I have seen nothing -- no information whatsoever -- from him that supports his accusations of wrong doing. DD should lead one to a conclusion based on the information gained. All of his conclusions are in stark opposition to the DD he collects. Take the case of the missing dollar sign for example. Nothing on the vfinance site suggested in any way shape or form any wrong doing on anyone's part, so he created it. Or the case of the dead brokerage resurrected by a former employee. Nothing wrong with that, so jhild created wrongness which he tried to force onto it.
Thirdly, he is wickedly mean spirited. His comments about Mary and Merv are without excuse, without basis, unnecessary and contemptible. Also, not very nice.
Vermin like him can thrive only when they can get their rewards. No one would pay him to bash, so he must take his currency in the attention he gets and the superior feeling he has when he plays word games and when he gets people to respond to him in anger. No, on days like today when the news is good, and supportive of a startup making headway, he can get nothing good here. We'd not let him. So, he "assumes the fetal position" as you said.
That, or he had a dentist appointment.
