Patrick,

The CME is behind the NASDAQ/ECN technology by so F#@%$^g much it is a joke! I could give you my personal horror stories with E-futures but it looks like you are experiencing your own. Anyone who says that Leo Web Tops/Cubs is great has never traded on the NASDAQ or through an ECN and just doesn't know any better. For me E-Minis are for practice on a new system or confidence building after a bad loss. I have the mini bid and ask at all times but there is no way you could target them (bid/ask) on a limit order. People who think they are getting good fills are simply choosing good trades. If they had a few losers in a row they wont be so full of praise for Leo Web or whatever EOS.
If you realy want to persist, As I said from what I hear BestDirect is the best. You key in your order, it pops up on a screen next to the pit, a guy reads it and speaks it in to his headset, it is heard by the floor trader on his headset, Floor trader fills it and speaks the fill price back to the guy at the screen, the guy confirms your fill. Good luck

John
