Hi Russ, thanks for your input. The distinction here is the fact that a criminal investigation is conducted as a consequence of a criminal act, while a background check is conducted in the absence of any known criminal acts. jhild's agenda is to insinuate that John Schmitz is guilty of criminal acts and that is the only reason for the background check. His repeated insistence that there has been no application for a thrift filed is proof of his agenda. Otherwise there is no rational reason for bringing it up. Over and over, again and again. A criminal investigation starts from a crime and proceeds to search for evidence to prove who committed that crime. Do you really intend to say that a routine background check is the same thing? I think not. PCM GO PABN!!!
