When Warren Buffett was on PBS with Bill Gates a couple of months back, he was asked why he hadn't ventured into the tech stocks. He responded that he preferred to stick to businesses he felt he understood, and that he didn't feel he had the same grasp for technology as he did for other businesses. That's not an exact quote but it's close. JL
