M: it's a white bread lead-in, white bread going out, and the sliming (or the meat of the matter) is in the middle. It's an old sales manager's trick/manipulation that's been around for a long, long time. Never let 'em go out hang dog - they might not come back, and then you'd have to train somebody else. They don't call them managers for nothing...or employees either, for that matter.
