Hi Dataminer1,
The scanning capabilities are excellent although you really have to be a code-head if you want to write your own.

Is that code-head or Cone-Head, If Cone-head then I'm in the drivers seat. If code then past the ZIP I get lost in the mail.

Don't have a scanning package, use the Confirmatory site for now.
Can't beat the software price, but the phone bill is hard to swallow.

Keith

Thanks to you and Keith for the discussion. I took a look at Quotes Plus and was impressed. This is the first time I have encountered a system that could compete with MegaTech since I bought it in 1992. Adding fundamental info is what puts it over the top in my mind.

Still, I'm going to keep my current system (MegaTech for charting, Netquote for daily market data) for a while. It still costs less. I also have a program called Technical Analysis Scanner or TAS from Flexisoft. It's expensive and, like the program you were discussing, requires some knowledge of code if you want to write your own scripts.
I have never taught myself that stuff but I have been able to download (in years past) scripts that other people have written. You might want to check this out before choosing a low-cost, 3 program system.

rettech.com
flexisoft.com
netquote.com

Now that I own the programs, my only expense is $7.00/month for my daily download.

Just a thought.
