But then again, INTC has also received a beating lately and it didn't do anything significant today when the Nasdaq went up. I guess analysts are being smart with AMD this time and sticking to the "wait-and-see" approach. Remember that $80 price target an analyst gave AMD in '97? They don't want to get burned again. I can't think of one of the big analysts who hasn't gotten burned by AMD since '97.
