Have you tried to fax them anything? (757) 543-5008

It is a residence... Tells me something. Either they put down the wrong number or... Have tried the company phone number as well and never a pick up. They could at least get an answering machine or a service.

A neat little thing I discovered while doing my standard DD snooping. The software company the SS has choosen to use to create their webstore also has a licensing and distribution agreement with none other that AOL. This leads me to believe that AOL will is looking to get into the LUCRATIVE business of hosting small internet shops. Thinking of how easy it may be to now open up a mom-and-pop business on the internet makes me now see those billions and billions of dollars of ecommerce business that all the experts and analyst are talking about.

I know there are already ecommerce hosting sites on the web, but I truely think the level that AOL could take it...It only makes too much sense NOT to do it.

Perhaps this shopping portal is the beta for AOL and they are specifically targetting young and green and in-development companies to sharpen their procedures and form a blueprint...

Everywhere I looked I could not find a single thing to tell me this investment was a smart one. Finally, I find something, and if makes sense, AOL may become the first true Internet Mall. A the companies their first with AOL may find themselves with first dibs of becoming brand-named/trademarked/household name, just like in the non-cyber shopping malls.

Well don't hold me to what I've just said, I may be stretching here, but it really made sense so I figured I throw it out, and put something positive on the board (it's been so long!). Pipe-dream maybe, but if it ain't...

Oh yeah, here is the AOL reference from Boomerang Software:

"America On-Line has a licensing and re-marketing agreement"

Need I say more.
