Transvestite Boxer Wants Bra For Next Bout
dailynews.yahoo.com

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Transvestite Thai kickboxer Parinya Kiatbusaba wants to wear a bra for his next bout against a
Japanese opponent in Tokyo Thursday to protect his newly-grown breasts.

''Parinya said he may need to wear a bra built with support to protect his breasts since they are quite large now,'' his
manager told Reuters.

The feminine-looking but tough fighter, who is preparing to undergo a sex change operation, usually wears make-up and ties
his flowing hair in a pony-tail during bouts.

Parinya, 20, first came to the spotlight in Thailand about two years ago when he tearfully refused to weigh-in for a fight with
only his underwear as required by local regulations.

Since then he has fought 30 bouts locally and won them all.

After his success in the boxing ring, the boxer switched to a singing career and took female hormones to improve the size of
his breasts to help him in show business, the manager said.

But failure in show business forced Parinya to return to the boxing ring, the manager said.

Parinya flies to Japan Monday night where he is scheduled to fight with Doi Hiroyuki, the Japanese kickboxing champion.
