The exact same thing happened to me! My husband wrote a check from
a checking account that only bares his name...but he made it out to US Clearing to be deposited into my WIT account.

It was returned as a third party check!!

My definition of a *third party check* is if the Payee line has another name besides US Clearing and the check is then endorsed over to US Clearing!

I think someone doesn't know what the heck they are doing at WIT C!!!
