To further that, The Jewish nation was certainly blessed with the lineage of Jesus, but I see nothing easy about what they did. Even with promise of milk and honey, how long did they choose cactus. If God was not a loving God , He certainly had every opportunity to give up on them.

Consider that even all He promised to make them, they still fell away time after time. As do we to this day.
