Not surprising. If I had been giving 1 dollar bills away for 90 cents for the last 3 years, I'm sure I would have a lot of people gushing about me too.

>. I would rather be long AMZN and short EBAY <

Now that is very disturbing statement in my opinion and I will get blasted for this by the longs, but why would you want to be long an internet company that is losing money and short one that is making money! It's amazing the mind set that is taking place on Wall Street now.

For what it's worth, I've been selling naked calls on AMZN for the past few months and selling naked puts on EBAY the past month or so and have been putting money in my pocket almost daily. Even EBAY is over valued in my opinion so I've been selling way out of the money puts like the 120's and 130's and the 140's and will buy it if they are put to me.

Glenn, I detect anger in your tone...

Tradegod,

I was not angry. I have been thinking about taking a long position and was hoping he would give enough guidance to make me feel more comfortable with the business model. Let's not spread this thought of mine around;-)

It has been pointed out to me that over the near term downside is minimial compared to upside. If I do go long, I am out if it closes below 108. I doubt I will admit to this thread to buying a long position. Also, taking the long position does not mean I am a believer in the FA of the firm.

I do not like him because I will always believe that the $25 million in stock he sold was not proper based on running a money losing firm. I will not stand on ceremony to prevent me from participating in an upside move.

I admit to being tired. Today was not a strong day for most of my positions.

Glenn
