¡ajaja! - you'd know all about la insentatez, wouldn't you ... very well, i'll respond, even though it's after midnight in Milwaukee and we only have twenty minutes of daylight left here so i'll just make it quick and whiz off to the garden.

I've read those links, if that 208.196 link is the Affordable Housing site, which it is, right? .... well the fotos there are not very clear, so what could anyone tell of the quality .... what we call trailers here tend to be of obviously light and cheap construccion, when you see one you know one ... i know builders here as well, you know, i built the house i'm in with their help and helped them on theirs, and have been known as a reasonably proficient cement finisher on a casual basis .... now i have freely volunteered that i do not know Belize, but

I know well and will within two years max build a house in the country roughly 380 kilómetros [checked the atlas] almost due west of Belize City. No way would i consider trailer construction, or for that matter a norteamericano frame construction, however well made. Neither would my neighbors consider it. Cement. That's what you want. Cheap. Strong. Keeps heat out. Cheap. Doesn't burn. Cheap. Good stuff. Now i do not in fact know for certain, but i tend to suspect that 380km won't change a whole hell of a lot.

And you still don't know who's on your board of directors, do you .... ajajaja
Ver y creer.

The host for this site [http://www.geocities.com/WallStreet/Market/3062/BelizeLetter.html] is a shareholder who is a movie star and a U.S. Citizen with dual Citizenship in Belize. He owns a house an island down there (I think he even owns the island itself). Personally, since he has been there, lives there part of every year and knows the area, I trust his assessment over yours any day.

Checking out the site, I find the letter from Remijio Montejo, but no endorsement from any "movie star" or any comment whatsoever. Only the letter. So, why do you declare to this thread that you trust his assessment and thrust up this link as verifiable proof of such a declaration? What credentials does this "movie star" have regarding housing durability/construction? Why not post some of this heresay evidence that has been relayed to you along with the name of this "movie star" so that we may ask him questions rather than rely on your story. Or is this yet another one of your declarations that we're not allowed to ask about further because you will run and hollar harassment?

here's the letter for those who have not seen it.

Letter from Hon. Remijio Montejo
Chairman National Assembly
Committee of Housing and Education

December 24, 1998

Affordable Housing Group
#2 King Street
Belize City, Belize

Attention: Joseph A. Sanker, CEO

Dear Mr. Sanker:

I thank you for inviting me to the construction site, to view the insulated paneling system.

I must inform you that I am impressed with the speed in which the two model homes are being built. I am doubly impressed with the paneling system and its insulation, in which I saw the energy saving, nonmaintenance quality; also, the building durability and engineering to withstand hurricane force winds.

The quality, durability and capability of the structure is the right solution for our housing needs here in Belize. As Chairman of the Housing Committee for the Government of Belize, I am strongly recommending your paneling system homes to meet our housing needs throughout the country of Belize.

Happy Holidays.

Remijio Montejo

oh, and BTW...what has the Hon. Remijio Montejo done for AFG since his visit 7 months ago? What endorsements has he made other than the personal letter to the CEO of AFG, any?
