Just got the email . This is good. they didn't want to announce contract details but let me tell you. Microforum Inc MCF Shares issued 18,133,966 Jun 8 close $6.50 Wed 9 Jun 99 News Release Mr. Howard Pearl reports The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary PPL Marketing, has secured a marketing and communications contract with Ford Motor Co., United States. This promotion will involve 200 regional dealerships in the Boston area. Financial terms were not disclosed at the request of the client. PPL designed, will implement, manage and provide support for this promotion known as The New England Summit Edition. The program will last for the months of June and July. "This contract expands our existing marketing and promotions relationship with Ford U.S. and supports our strategic initiative to develop a stronger U.S.-based business," said Howard Pearl, chief executive officer and president of Microforum. In addition, PPL Marketing was recently awarded Ford's Marketing Excellence Award for 1998. This award recognizes PPL Marketing Services as a consistent supplier of excellence in service and execution to the Ford Motor Co.'s 1998 marketing programs. The award is based on a selection of projects that PPL worked on throughout the year. Microforum's PPL Marketing has won this prestigious annual award on seven other occasions.
