Is it fair? Define fair? All paying customers having a shot at an IPO. Were we not deserving for taking the time to monitor the E-Trade IPO page (or this thread) closely? IMO, No you shouldn't be. Should we not have been rewarded for being fastest at filing an IOI? Correct again, IMO. What about those people that wait in line for concert tickets (or to see Star Wars?) Star Wars, those people are fools. Will SW's be any different 2 weeks or 2 months from now? What if they were told that it's no longer a FCFS, but rather a lottery for tickets... would you consider that "fair" too? Yes, anything would be better than it was. Hovering over a keyboard and clicking away non stop. What chance do working folks have? It changed so therefore E trade recognized it was unfair. jim
