Dear Sandra; Perhaps I am immature in my beliefs but I find it difficult and almost sinful to ask God to bless me financially or with material possessions. If I have true needs I do not hesitate to ask God. Stock investments, at least for me, are discretionary funds and do not represent basic needs. I invest for the long term with the idea of caring for my family. God knows the needs of my family and cares for them long term as well. I just don't like to tell him how to handle it.
