Re: cons

Thank you for the response. I knew you were going to be busy and did not want you to go to any extra trouble just to educate me. I understand the principles of the two groups, but had not heard the labels before.

I can not condone any sort of communism, or even socialism, because I fear it is anti individual endeavors and rewards those who don't work but take from the communal store house.

It definitly appears that Pat Buchanan has taken a radical road, which I can not support either. I am surprised at Buckley's acceptance of the neos. I always thought of him as a rock hard republican, industrial type conservative.

I too, am a republican but refrain from any radical approach. I voted for Goldwater in '64 which very many did not. He was misunderstood and viciously maligned by L.B.J.. I come from an area that knew Lyndon quite well and know what an SOB and back stabber he was.

Having been in manufacturing all my working life, I am not pro union and we ran our company so that all of the 200+ employees never wanted one and voted them down each time an organization attempt was made. I mainly oppose the interference of organized crime between employee and employer.

Thanks again for being nice,
