2nd hand supercomm update.....Everybody claims to have an ADSL offering at their booth...Supercomm is getting too big...Westell booth low budget but okay, did see a lot of traffic...SLC2000 shown without cover showing components...LU was showing it, they are calling it Access-Link...MZ speech on monday with panel form BLS,SBC,COVD and Ameritech....John Cahill of BLS talked about DLC at length also G-lite...MZ interoperbility and 1mill global industry lines by y/e ....Killer apps VoDSL in 2000...Mass market 2000...Back to SUPERCOMM buzz... It seems that big telcos want to stuff g-lite down customers throats yet they have not down any market studies with customers...VOIP and Vodsl is hot...Centillum Tech still private has an 8-port G-lite chip ready to go...Interoperbility booth for G-lite was good but not as good as the Virtual Golf booth or the hired local talent some companies had infront of their booths to attract attention...I guess MZ should have done a Las vegas and stuck with the showgirls instead of Hagen Daz bars! LU has Us west, Sprint and Cinn bell testing the SLC-2000 access-link, hope they heard Cahill at BLS should be a easy SALE....Show very well attended bandwidth rules...Month end G-lite standards could hurt AWRE....MZ really has a business model and plans to stick by it...Look for the 2nd phase of business model by june 15-fuj....The biggest question of Supercomm will be what company actual spends the most at the Cheetah...My prediction is without Hafner in the USA, WSTL can't compete!
