French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin told the National Assembly in Paris on Tuesday that Kosovo would be divided into five sectors, each under the responsibility of a NATO country. He said such a plan ruled out partition of the province, which some had feared might take place if Russia, traditionally friendly to the Serbs, ran a sector.
