There's DD and then there's DD.

From NHLT's 1996 10QSB [Let's see what they were saying about themselves 3 years ago, before anything that is being contemplated today was being discussed.]

sec.gov

"The Company was incorporated on March 23, 1989. The Company's principal business activities consist of providing medical cost containment services to both institutional and consumer markets. The Company performs on-going credit evaluations of its customers' financial condition and generally requires no collateral."

and

"Results of Operations for the Three Months Ended March 31, 1995 and 1994 Total sales of $50,782 for the three months ended March 31, 1996 ("first quarter of 1996") represent a decrease of approximately
27% from total revenue of $69,846 for the three months ended March
31, 1995 ("first quarter of 1995"). This decrease is primarily
attributed to the decline in POWERX sales of 19% as a result of
concentrating on potentially larger accounts with longer sales
cycles and less emphasis on small account activity. Revenues from
the sale of medical equipment decreased $7,913, or 68% for the first
quarter of 1996 from the comparable 1995 period, due to a concerted
movement away from lower profit activity. Cost of sales (as a
percentage of total revenues) decreased to 19% for the first quarter
of 1996, from 38% for the comparable 1995 period due to improved
gross margin sales of POWERX cards.
"

This is from their most recent 10QSB

sec.gov

Same Story.

ColleenB please do not waste our time with nonsense like that post from RB. Especially given the same poster's follow up message. Here is what he had to say when he was asked for proof of his rather outrageous claims:

ragingbull.com

"I have contacted the company and have requested that they wither confirm or deny thier past.

Unfortunately my contact with what I believe to have been this company was more that a decade ago and I doubt that I would be able to hard copy prove it.

I assure you that I will forward along to the board anything National tells me, be it positive or negative.
"

Since NHLT was incorporated in 1989 it seems to me it will be a bit difficult to prove it ran a water filter scam and pyramid scam in the mid-80's.

No wonder you quoted him. The two of you seem to have exactly the same philosophy of DD. "If it is negative post it first and worry about whether it has any basis in reality later, if at all."

Personally, I consider this to be another example of harassment of this thread by you. It is certainly completely irresponsible of you to post that without making the least effort to determin the truth. That, or proof positive you have no business being allowed online unsupervised, and I mean that sincerely.

Colleen, I think that poster has the names mixed up and was referring to NSA (National Safety Associates) that sold water filters and other over-priced stuff via MLM. And yes, after 20 years there are probably STILL garages full of those water filters. In fact, the more you spent to "buy a higher position", the more money you MIGHT make. Back then it was called getting "garage qualified" every month, like spending $2k to make a $1.5k bonus check. And yes, they are still around, but I think it's a different company.
