Will Rates Rise or Will They Stay the Same? Vote Early, Vote Often...

Place your votes on the board before the Federal Reserve meeting and state the reasons why and be specific. We want definitive answers-half the fun of this will be to be right for the wrong reasons. Here I go:

The broadest measure of the money supply has been decreasing since early in the year which indicates that Greenspan will raise rates by 1/4 of a point and keep the tightening stance. Further, there is a better than 50% chance he will increase the rates later in the year by the same amount due to the economy not slowing down.
