What I'd like to see is QWST/BLS make a bid for GBLX and scuttle the FRO and USW mergers. No, you do not. The infrastructure that QWST/BLS has in place is grossly inadequate when compared to the lean and mean system of a GBLX/FRO combination. The FRO purchase is as close to a perfect match as we are going to get. FRO brings to GBLX a treasure chest of assets including the most advanced terrestrial fiber optic network on the planet and a chain of Internet server hubs. These giant server 'farms' host arrays of Sun computers that perform 60% of all Internet searches and 70% of all online financial messages and house 300 of the top 500 Internet sites. These companies combined will provide seamless service across the globe.
