Pat --

DV = Daily Variant.

This new (old strategy but new implementation for me) semipositional stuff surely is easy.
Long from 1295 and 1316.5 .... rolling over to the U contract sometime today.

on edit --- I noticed that while I was typing this post I got stopped out of the 1316.5 position at 1313 ... Hal was correct yesterday, I should have gone with the U contract then or better yet ---
I should have listened to myself and NEVER have traded the two days preceding expiry/rollover ..... ggg

BTW --
I have spent the past few days unpacking and installing several Dell 550mz with 19in Trinitron CRTs and 22+Gig 7200rpm HardDrives at my wife's office.
Nice boxes, easy hookups, and speedy performance .... Dell has moved up some in my estimation after this experience.
I helped some in the original order configuration of the initial parts that were decided upon to go into the new boxes and volunteered to install them for her because I can get to it more rapidly than the techs from the electronic/technology dept.

back to the DV --
I gather that your author is writing of the published DVs in the various Racing Forms type of PastPerformance, not the calculated ones like I do.
If he means the math derived ones that mostly are home done .... he's wrong.

The mental acuity of my pard has degenerated so badly in the past several months that he is now way below me in prowess .... he's at the moronic level and I remain a tad above that.
Boy, it is gut wrenching to visit him .... I might even come to look more kindly at Kervorkian before long.
