frank...some food for thought..

let's look at the "enemy"

ibm @ 114 off an all time high of 123 pe=33
hwp @ 92 off an all time high of 97 pe=30
dell @ 35 off an all time high of 55 pe=61

ibm has spoken, hwp has spoken...the markets feel comfortable, in spite of them losing the pc war to dell

dell has not spoken, decimated the competition, market says "so what" and reflects in stock price..but yet still awards with a 2x pe to the losers

dell will buy components from ibm, dell will resell high profit peripherals from hwp....who is the subordinate, who needs who?

dell outsources service, a high profit component..ibm and hwp service is theirs...alliance with ibm as many on the thread tout as great for dell, will be better for ibm. dell is a customer of ibm, and hwp...a bit bizarre isn't it...to depend on your "enemy" for survival
