I think Raytec is attacking on many fronts and that's the way it should be. There's lots to do! The company is developing new applications, sales force is working on orders, Tenneco is manufacturing Shrinkguard, Engelhard, I understand, is secrety working on non-food applications and yes I hope news will be out soon about one thing or another.

I have been following the Alcide stock for some time. What I find interesting about the Alcide/Raytec comparison is the market acceptance of food safety. In 1997 Alcide announced an agreement with Novus International to commercialize an anti-microbial product. As a result their stock soared to $60 US on the expectations of the anticipated product. I believe that Raytec's chlorine dioxide technology is far better than Alcide's technology. I also believe that if Raytec obtains a listing on a US exchange the investor would benefit as the Alcide investors have. The fact that Raytec is trading in Vancouver has probably not helped the investor acceptance of the company. This sleeper could wake up soon.
