OSX holding up well in spite of the Spooz slaughter. 74 appears to be short term support, 78 to be short term resistance.

People just don't get it. The US economy is almost all front-end loaded due to Y2K. Has not anyone heard of lock-down on technology purchases starting Sept. & Oct. The Fed's have to weigh that into their considerations. Plus the CPI number last month was mostly due to higher energy prices which are now 10% lower than last month. It's the Internet that is the key to keeping inflation low. Nobody can make any money selling products there. There are no barriers to entry. It's just one huge price war which will extend around the world in the next five years. I repeat- There IS NO PRICING POWER.
The internet is creatively destructive. Destructive of profit margins. The recent 30-year bond moves is more a function of foreign speculators loosing big an guessing which way the dollar/yen move was going to be. They guessed wrong and are now selling US treasuries.
People react to the WRONG information in making investment decisions all the time.
