Aus:
In case you haven't seen this. Compliments Steve's Dicam News:

"Lexar Launches New JumpStart USB CompactFlash!
According to the Imaging-Resource"

"Imaging site PhotoHighway.com has published a press release dated June 14 from Lexar today, officially announcing its USB CompactFlash cards. According to the release, the cards (which feature built-in USB controllers allowing connection directly to a PC without the need for a card reader) will reach retailers in August, in a range of capacities from 16 to 80MB. Prices will start from $69 list for the 16MB unit, and a separate USB connection kit (consisting of cable, Mac/Windows98 driver CD, and software for viewing/organizing the images will sell separately for $19.95."

Really Bruno, I'm siding with Aus on that purchase. I own 2 8MB,1ea 20MB, a PCMCIA card and a 48MB enroute. All SANDISK. Recently I checked d-Store for prices on 48MB CF card and came up with Microtech-$179.00;Viking-$169.00 and Sandisk $139.00.That is not to say that these cards cannot be purchased elsewhere for a lesser price, but ,in this instance, SNDK was clearly a lower cost.

I am seeing more and more ads popping up with Sandisk clearly standing out in the advertising. Thank you Aus, I believe that the investors owe you a bit of thanks for all you have done and are still doing for the company. You continue to butt heads with those who probably have never even seen a CF card. And thanks to those powers that be at the COMPANY.

Ron.
