Roy, my understanding is that BRCD will be marginable in another two weeks or so which means people can buy it on margin or sell it short. And if I understand you correctly the shareholders who are locked up for 180 days can also short the stock which means that they can short it against the box and lock in their profits. If that is true I suppose it could put some pressure on the stock but of course one can't short it if you can't borrow it and I suspect that amount will be small. Also the quiet period will end about the same time and I would think BRCD might have some announcements at that time. Incidentally their is a rather lengthy article in todays Minneapolis paper on Network Systems, a Mn. Co., which will play a key role in STK's (their parent co.) push into the SAN market. The article discusses the future size of the SAN market.

<<Are you reading the same S-1 I am? SQNT does not make up 84% of BRCD sales.>>

Roy, my apologies to you and your fellow BRCD associates..I was posting from memory and the correct number for 1998 was 72% not 84%. I think I had 84% in my head because that is the Market Share number that Brocade was quoting in at least one press release...It is interesting that I did not see any 84% market share number printed in any of the S-1 filings. One statement you made that I disagree with is your contention that I somehow "blamed" Brocade for Ancor's checkered history. I do not know how you reached this conclusion. There are no sour grapes on my part...I loaded up ANCR at $1-2 last summer/fall, so why should I be unhappy? The Fibre Channel SANscape is still in its infancy..

BTW, Congrats on your BRCD founders stock..as you can see from my previous posts about the BRCD IPO, my predictions were fairly accurate and I have been very complimentary towards BRCD. It is in my own financial interest for BRCD stock price to remain at/near its current level or better yet, even higher.Do YOU believe BRCD is fairly valued or overvalued?

Have a great weekend.
