This is the saddest thread of all to me. It amuses, but makes me feel ashamed of being a human male. Two of my closest friends -- married for 20 years without making love or even enjoying each other's company stay together because of the pledge before God they made each other -- don't believe in God any more. Marriage isn't very much. It's all most people in the world have to keep them from being alone. It can't take much mocking and survive. It is fragile and delicate. A tender and very sad joke.
