Sean, have been misinformed on SCSI, then? I was under the impression that it was inadvisable to put slow SCSI devices on the same chain with Fast and Ultra devices--something like the chain would communicate only as quickly as its slowest link. Am I wrong?

Then again, I doubt it would make much difference, as the slow SCSI 5 M bandwidth would probably be plenty for my purposes anyway, unless perhaps I was using the zip, scanner, and burning a CD all simultaneously...

In other SCSI news, I was dissapointed to see that despite the onboard NCR bios, the Asus P2B-F / NCR 810 /Plextor combo wouldn't result in a bootable NT system CD, even when the bios was properly set. Again it probably doesn't much matter, but perhaps I should put the Mylex Ultra narrow back in the main box...
