There was an article posted on this thread within the last few days that said that Intel was planning 0.13 on 200 mm in 2001 and on 300 mm in 2002.

The 0.13 micron process development began in earnest last year - in D1B - I believe.

This was on 200 MM wafers of course.

Intel's announcement sounded quite intelligent - the 0.13 micron process development will proceed on 200 MM wafers first - as a "low risk" approach, and will be ported to 300 MM only after completion of the 200 MM Program.
