Correction to FMK post re: ownership; Telcordia Technologies IS Bellcore (it's new name) according to pg. 66 Red Herring June 99 It is owned by SAIC (Scientific Applications International, a large (4 billion revenue) private company originally handling R&D projects for gov. defense agencies. SAIC is on Red Herrings list of superstars for private companies of the electronic economy. Hence the redundancy in FMK's post.
