My nets went long on today's close and remain long on Friday's close. I am still short on QQQ but am looking to reverse at maybe 10:30 AM or a gap down open.

Best Wishes,

Bob

F Robert Simms: I have a home made trading system, and I have the SPX and NDX indexes in this system. When I back tested each with their respective customized formulas The results were very good. But when I used the SPX signals to buy or sell NDX instruments, the results were positive, but not nearly as good as a customized set of formulas.

To give you an idea of the difference, it cut the profits by at least 1/3. Both sets of formulas would more than double the buy and hold strategies when applied to their respective indexes.

I guess if you are going to be trading futures, then it is irrelevant, but if you are going to continue trading NDX instruments, it may be worthwhile to customize it to the NDX.

Jaime
