Thanks, I needed the information, a friend had the problem - I use Discoverbrokerage for quick executions and never had a problem with them; I have however, lost lots of money with ETURD waiting on them to placate the MM and hold my order all day and then throw it back to me. Can't wait until I can buy stocks direct without going thru the MMs - that day is coming, maybe in 5 years, but it will come and I will be ready. :) Jacalyn Thanks again
