To Sue: No I missed it, thanks. Evidently no one was
listening to his theory. Hopefully, we'll see the Long
Bond reverse course very soon. I wish Greenspan would
get off his backside and just raise the rate a quarter
basis point and get it over with already. Then, we
might see a sustained rally for a change. We've got
to get out of this quicksand Soooooooooooooon!!

please pardon my language, but here, FINALLY is someone who fucking gets it. no one is going to sell equities with a safe coupon of 10-12% for a bond with a coupon of 6%. its just not going to happen. and if rates DO become competitive, then that will be least of our worries because inflation will probably be in the double digits and we will all be scrambling to buy real estate and gold<G>.
