Tom, I agree with you, most of the net are still in free fall, and that piece of news will accelerate this trend, IMHO. That is one reason I am not sanguine about the market yet, despite the superb performance of the semis. I think that until the end of the month when the market knows what Greenspan is going to do (even if he raises rates by 25 basis points, which I doubt he will), we will be suffering from uncertainty and thus generally weak markets, IMHO.

Tom, I agree about the CMGI effect on the nets, but does it look like the broader market is ripe for a snapback rally? Looks a bit oversold here, although I'm the first to admit I'm not a TA guy.
