Welcome to the temporary home thread for CGTM: *** "Cooperative Group-Trading Movement" *** Our themes in this movement are: COOPERATION, SHARING, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, TRUST and FAIRNESS TO ALL. The establishment of this thread has been brewing since last March in respone to many changes in the profession of day-trading. We are inviting ALL to please join our privately growing FREE "Cooperative Group-Trading Movement" which has been formed within the last 3 months. *** Together, we can beat the ODDS and overcome corrupt FRAUDS. *** Also, together, we can ensure that we wont have opposite positions on any stock, thus ensuring making money in as short a time as possible. The idea of the "Cooperative Group-Trading" is as follows: Can you imagine if ALL the major posters get together in one place and post their best picks for day-or-position trading ???? Imagine if the great professional posters like Bill Wexler, Tom Hua, Auric Goldfinger, Zeev hed, Mr.Pink, Pluvia, Bear Down, Rajiv, John G. David S. (among many other excellent quality posters), imagine if all met in one chat site and agreed on 2 or 3 picks for as shorts or longs ???????? It would surely be a great unprecedented achievement with a HUGE potential. So far, we have the green lights from the most distinguished posters on SI such as Bill Wexler, Auric Goldfinger, Joe Copia, Bear Down, Rajiv, Zeev hed, Tom Hua, John G, Pluvia, Rande Is, Auric Goldfinger, David_S, dale baker among many many others. The list of members is so long, but it includes daily active posters such as Dr.suess, peter V, wolff, amigo sergio, trader x, mad2, colin cody, oz, KM, CRAIG k, max99, donny brasco, Eric P, cat lady ... the lisyt is simply too long :)) All of the above have expressed interest and indicated that they will either actively participate or contribute in one way or another. We would surely invite and welcome input from other posters such as Infostream.com, A@P, Lastshadow, mama bear, Mr.Pink, and Roger Babb among many other distinguished SI posters. Some major posters have declined to associate their names with us officially for being licensed wall street professionals, but they still promised to do their best in the way of contributing to our goals. We appreciate that. Also, our list includes ( to date ) about 133 other small retail investors, with whom we constantly send them PM on daily or weekly basis as to what our final picks are for the next day to a week. Examples of our sell short hits were: ISSX, ITVU, NETE, MZON, PDX, PAMC, CUST among 34 other sold short winners. We do NOT seek to influence the price of any stock, but good stocks are GOOD , and bad stocks are TOO stinky sometimes, if not out-right FRAUD and they deserve to sink to their real values, thus protecting the small guy. We mostly like to short stocks, but we also go long in cases of almost sure wins. We have a great variet posters, some of whom do not like or can not short stocks. We can do both !!!!!! Regarding the pay-sites of A@P and others: A@P is a personal friend, I hold all the respect in the world for him, but I simply feel that the pay site can not and will contradict with our group-calls. I, myself may or may not decide to join A@P or any other PAY-SITE, but we all have the freedom to be here and there at the same time. NONE of our common members (who are also members of any PAY-SITE) are required to divulge the trading picks called for in their respectrive Pay-Site. We are here to discuss OUR OWN PICKS and CALLs, unless the Moderators of such sites choose to post them here later, However, their credibilty lies on the line here if profits are taken too quickly, thus, leaving our small guys here holding the bag. Remember, CREDIBILITY is what this game is all about !!!!!!!! Many small investors can NOT afford to pay $400/month, and many larger investors simply REFUSE to pay for it, So, what are we all to do here ??? I, for one was an avid follower of A@P's original thread, till he started the PAY-SITE. I found the thread to have lost its magic, as many people have professed to me that they have lost faith in the calls made as they feel like the calls made there are mostly too late, self-serving calls. Again, WHAT ARE WE TO DO ?? This "FREE" "Cooperative Group-Trading Movement" is the best answer to this problem as both of our groups can synergize each other by simply discussing them first and determining which calls may still be valid. And, I truly think that we should all HONESTLY cooeperate with each other for the best interest of ALL small before big INVESTORS (including ourselves), regardless of any personal objectives. If we do not cooperate with each other, we all LOSE to the corrupt manipulators of this jungle market !!!!! Current Goals: (1)We are trying to gather every major poster into ONE chat room for an hour or 2 each night to discuss the picks for the next day or week, then we will post our picks on newly designed thread for this purpose. Thus, the more successful we are regarding our picks, the more money we make for ourselves and for all other small investors, thus the more credibility we build, thus the more followers we get and so on. (2) maximize our small followers base and e-mail list to at least 1000 (3) Also, we are trying to be connected to each other on icq , which provides paging and instant msgs with an audio alert to get attention in case one is too busy watching the market or in case someone finds a threat to one of our positions. The public Chat site & conference room link is : daytrading.cjb.net Please note the following about the chat site: (1)It is not officially open yet, but you can all test-drive it for beta-testing to resolve any potential problems before getting started, while getting to meet each other for the first time. ( some members be called to participate in the beta testing from time to time, so please be ready to answer the call) (2) the chat room is accessible ONLY to browsers that are JAVE_ENABLED and set up to ACCEPT COOKIES, Fire-walls may or may not interfere. If you still have a problem with logging into the chat room after waiting for up to 5-10 minutes or longer, then you must clear your cache memory ( on netscape 4.0 or higher, go to EDIT > preferences > advanced > cache > clear memory cache and disk cache, then restart your computer) (4) Please Log onto the chat with your own SI handle for Identification and acceptance into the room. (5) the chat room may be accessed from either a browser(IE or Netscape) or directly from mIRC ( mIRC is the most reliable and useful tool) mIRC server = irc.webmaster.com and the channel = #daytraders ** you may have to add the webmaster server to your irc client, if so go to FILE > SETUP (Alt+E), click on ADD then enter: DESCRIPTION = ( daytraders server or anything), SERVER = irc.webmaster.com Port= 6667 Group= leave it blank ** To download mIRC, go to mirc.co.uk, then do the above set up Official thread is sooooon to come, but will start after we are ALL ready to go - please, stay in touch on a daily basis with this temporary site for now (post all your suggestions and stock picks). ------------------------- It would be great if you ALL would please join us and help us achieve our goal by inviting other posters whom you trust and respect.
