Coming out of lurk mode. Its been a long 2+ year wait. Hopefully my patience will start paying off. This 300mm news is what we've talked about for so long as being the flint that produces a spark. I think the tinders are just warming up.

Ian, sounds like you have some of the sturdy, old-fashioned "practical" TA skills. The ones that successful investors pick up by experience. Your description of the probable path ahead for CYMI tracks with my own scenario -- and I 've boosted my stake by just over 50% this week. Tech discussions (and reports) are already looking at .13 micron design features, wide-spread by 2002. A guess would be that CYMI supplies some of the lasers for the necessary equipment..
The whole photolithography area, from DPMI's masks (or PLAB, etc, for those of other focus) to GSNX's "cleanup" equipment should benefit. I like ETEC as well, but not as much as CYMI...
Are you "into" any other, related stocks?
