Wrong! YHOO will not report well. You know why? 'Cause the virtuous circle that got all of this going is unwinding: Page views off 'cause mini mo's like you been getting whacked you get depressed, you stop checking the price of your YHOO for work every 15 minutes, 1/3 of age views on YHOO are financially related, ad revenues go down, rates go down, Media Metrics reports page views down, YHOO reports lower than expected revs and earnings and the stock gets clobbered. You get a margin call and you puke the stock. And the beat goes on....

<!>I think we can count on Mary Meeker come out to save us.<!>

so thats our last hope hah? one must remember that these analysts were the ones that gave these stocks $500 targets in the first place. So, can we still trust em to come out and "save" us?

News bit:

Net stocks also suffered a one-two punch from a couple of analysts. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter analyst Mary Meeker wrote that she was not "convinced" that the recent market crack for Internet stocks was over. In addition, Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Lise Buyer wrote that she did not believe "that this is the time to dive back in" to Internet stocks.

>>>I think we can count on Mary Meeker come out to save us. For now, we need give her time to let her clients load up. July and August will be good time for her to pump up internet stocks again. Why? YHOO, AOL, and many others are going to report strong earnings. Where CMGI will be? $200 or $250? Is she telling her clients that kind number right now? :-)<<<
