Why would people sell at 12.75 if Ford is going to pay 13 for every share?

My personal feelings, and after having traded this market since it was at 885, being taken out of the play leaves a void. Kind of like what a child may feel as he sits and is enjoying a board game or computer game now and along comes a parent and closes the board with all the pieces inside or shuts the tv off abruptly. Game over. no full potential realized. more so than the cost it is not a money thing that i am feeling either it is is how do you describe this. after having this done before to me but always with some premium above the current trade, i guess it is a childish feeling of not ending the play where my calculations both fundamental and technical would have me do the selling to end the game, even if we missed the highest price and sold on the way down, you had the control over where.

all these post are excellent and i agree that people are selling to go else where, not to Ford because they need to apply to or notify for greater than 5% ownership i believe to SEC. this is only and intent to own a company your shares must be voted and tendered

with nearly 1/3 of the shares changing hands as i post here and the price going nowhere could be a dump by several smaller parties.

maybe GM or another car co. scooping wishful thinking here.

I will wait for some announcement by MNGT let the dust clear and see who has what to vote with. Since it was Ford who agreed to buy MNGT must have set this price. What options they have left can be taken as shares to vote.

good luck
